April 2007, for 3 weeks, David donated the proceeds of his new CD that were sold in the lobby
following the performances of Light in the Piazza to Broadway Cares.

October 16, 2005, NYC, David appeared in "Standing Ovations IV: From Stage to Screen and Back Again"
a benefit for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS took place at Joe's Pub at the Public Theatre.

July 10, 2005, at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, David performed in "In Good Company"
a benefit to raise money for Operation USA's relief efforts for the victims of the Asian Tsunami.

March 12-14th, 2004 David performed in the

The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber" at Luckman Fine Arts Complex in Los Angeles.
An All-Star Gala Benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles & Los Angeles Free Clinic.

March 4 -6, 2000, David performed in the
"16th Annual S.T.A.G.E. Strouse, Schwartz & Schwartz AIDS Benefit"
at the Luckman Theatre Cal State L.A.
David performed "Lion Tamer" from The Magic Show by Stephen Schwartz.

January 30, 31 and February 1, 1998, David performed in
"The 14th Annual S.T.A.G.E. Lerner, Loewe, Lane and Friends AIDS Benefit."
David fit right in among all the talent performing. He sang "Everything I Have Is Yours"
by Burton Lane, from the 1933 film 'Dancing Lady" at the Luckman Theatre in Los Angeles.
After the performance he received accolades from some of the stars who were amazed by his talent.

After the benefit, this is what David had to say. "It was one of the highlights of my performing career.
It was great being able to do something for such a great cause and to meet such wonderful people.
A special thanks to all my fans that came out to support me. It really meant a lot."

On December 14, 1997, "Christmas Cares A Yuletide Cabaret" a benefit for Theatre Cares was
held at the Vancouver East Cultural Center, it starred David Burnham and the cast of 'Joseph'.
David sang a beautiful, moving arrangement of "O Holy Night" which brought tears to your eyes,
and the entire House to it's feet with thunderous applause.
David along with Paul J Gallagher, Ken Sawyer and Michael C Harris also performed
'Walking 'Round in Women's Underwear' pretending to be stage crew, the result was hilarious.

Monday November 24, 1997, David, Abe Reybold, and Kelli James Chase were in
Victoria BC, dedicating the 'Joseph Tree' to benefit The Children's Hospital.

On November 16, 1997 at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, B.C. David Burnham and Jazz star
Dee Daniels, headlined the star studded list at the 12th annual "Starry Night Xll AIDS Benefit."
David performed "Close Every Door" from Andrew Lloyd Webber's
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Since it began, the benefit has raised more than $240,000 for the Shooting Stars Foundation
which benefits local AIDS agencies.

On August 21st, 1997 David was the Celebrity Host of the "Toronto AIDS Walk Kick-off".
 

In Toronto on June 1,1997, David helped wind up the 24 hour telethon for the "Hospital for Sick Children"
which raised more than $4 million, the most ever in it's 13 year history.
